“A great opportunity to take science seriously and make it fun too! I loved the heat camera, the nail polish experiment and the planetarium. Would like to take my son to visit again.”

We make astronomy and space science come alive through community projects, public talks, outreach and events, school workshops and virtual planetarium shows, plus our amazing Astronomy School
Astronomy outreach and public engagement is what we do best. We have a passion for all things space and have developed a range of creative, interactive ways to share this passion with you.
Based in Hastings, our astronomy courses offer something for everyone – from complete newbies to enthusiastic observers – through a range of evening and weekend courses.
Our public talks are delivered with passion and expertise by our Founder, Melanie Davies. They come to life with awesome images, cutting edge science and our trademark design.
Right now, due to COVID-19, we’re unable to bring our mobile planetarium to you. Instead, we’re offering a range of interactive astronomy shows, with live Q&A, virtually via Zoom.
We have a selection of space workshops suitable for all ages and Key Stages. At the moment these are offered live through Zoom, or as downloadable activity packs via DropBox.
As a Community Interest Company, one of our main remits is to offer free astronomy outreach projects and space-themed public engagement events for our local community of Hastings.
Outreach & Events
Our astronomy and space events are suitable for all ages and abilities and are fully inclusive. Our innovative approach to outreach education engages our audiences in a fun and creative way.
“Thank you so much for sharing your time, knowledge and resources! The children thoroughly enjoyed their sessions, as did the adults. There wasn’t anyone who didn’t learn something new. It was a real treat to have an expert answering some of the more difficult and searching questions and gave us teachers the chance to sit back and marvel at the children’s curiosity.”
